Tarlae is a multi skilled performer who has worked independently as a soloist performer as well as alongside some of Australia’s best choreographers and show makers. Tarlae began her training with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance at the Queensland University of Technology which was shortly followed by a Diploma in Performing Arts (Commercial Dance and Music Theatre) in 2011. After Tarlae completed her dance training she went on to perform professionally as a musical theatre and cabaret performer. She then completed a Diploma of Music at the Australian Institute of Music (Vocals) to further her training in vocals and music meanwhile working as a soloist fire performer and act maker. Tarlae has an eclectic mix of skills and experience including fire performance and circus training, on top of her already developed triple threat, that has defined her unique performance style and creativity.

Tarlae started her dance career studying a Bachelor of Creative Industries Dance at the Queensland University of Technology. She then went on to further her dance training and begin musical theatre with a Diploma in Performing Arts – Commercial Dance and Musical Theatre at the Dividia Lind Dance Centre. Some of the shows Tarlae has performed in include The Wizard of Oz – Dancer – Harvest Rain Theatre Company, Hairspray – Dynamite Judine – Catchment Players Theatre Company. Tarlae currently dances along side Vaudeville Queen Miss Friby and Gypsy Band Rapskallion.

Tarlae is a Gold Coast based solo fire performer exuding an eclectic, slightly esoteric style. She has captured audiences across Australia at major events and festivals such as Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, Pacha Sydney and Rainbow Serpent Festival with her strong stage presence and will continue to wow them with her unique convergence of dance, theatre and fire.
