Lex was professionally trained in London at Cambridge Performing Arts where he learnt his skills in dancing, acting and singing gaining a National Diploma in Professional Performing Arts. He has strong experience in the field of dance, including performances with Macklemore, Whitney Houston live on the X-Factor and TakeThat on the Brit Awards and Royal Variety Performance for the Queen. His video credits include Aluna George, Alexandra Burke ,George Sampson and Katy Melua. Lex has also danced in several professional theatre productions such as Sir Andrew Lloyd Webbers “Starlight Express” where he learnt his skills as a Break Skater, “Oklahoma” and “Jesus Christ Superstar”. He has also performed in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in various Circus Shows where he obtained specialist skills such as Circus ‘Cyr‘ Wheel, Fire Spinning and Angle Grinding. Lex is probably best known for his success playing the main character of “Boogie” in the World Wide release UK No1 hit film StreetDance 3D the Movie which earned him a place on the National Movie Database and a Wold tour for the films release which took him as far as Egypt and Africa to perform. Cyr Wheel

Lex was trained one on one in Cyr Wheel by one of the top circus performers from Cirque Du Soleil. His breakdance background gives him a very unique and exciting style in the wheel. Lex has been training and performing the wheel for over four years in countries such as England, France and Abu Dhabi. Lex was originally trained as a professional dancer who went on the perform in film, TV and theatre all over the world. It was during his UK contract on Sir Andrew Lloyd Webberʼs Hit Musical “Starlight Express” he found his love for Roller Skating and quickly excelled to a very high standard. His background as a Breakdancer gave him the ability to take the sport to a whole new level performing tricks that had never been seen before in the 25 years of Starlight Express history. Lex has been performing fire for 5 years now and learnt to spin poi many years before that so he is more then confident around a naked flame. Using specially made equipment Lex makes Sparks fly from his body while performing and interacting with the crowd, all the Sparks are choreographed in time to the music for added effect. This act has been performed all over the world, Lex learnt this specialist skill in London where it is one of the most popular acts in clubs and corporate shows. This act is perfectly safe for any venue and there is absolutely no danger of damage as the sparks are 100% Non Flammable. Great for events where Fire is not suitable. |
