Billie was originally a member of an ever growing youth circus from NSW, Spaghetti Circus. Her passion for circus exploded and lead her to the National Institute if Circus Arts, graduating in 2009. She developed many skills including silks, duo and solo aerial ring and hula hoops, however her world class silks act ‘Dissolving Girl’ is one of a kind. BILLE IS CURRENTLY BASED IN MELBOURNE |

‘Dissolving Girl’ is an act of mystery and power, portrayed through fierce contrasting elegant beauty in the air. This particular routine has a simple inventive way of tossing and weaving the silk in a mesmerising way. The costume, music and dynamic performance on the tissu moulds together to produce a world class act. “Billie‘s silks routine sets not only the pace but the benchmark for her fellow students, with an extraordinarily beautiful and fearless dance on the edge of physical impossibility” : Stage Whispers. The two sleek girls interweave themselves within the hoop while creating symmetrical shapes and impressive basing positions. This act has been performed in many different venues in Australia, both corporate and burlesque events. ‘The Rag Dolls’ is a solid and adaptable duo act with black and white shredded tutu’s and teased hair. Static, swinging or spinning. Bending, weaving and gracefully flowing in and around the hoop. Billie is able to use the frame of the hoop to make interesting shapes and showcase her long extensions and perfected lines. |
