Catherine has been an active member of the circus industry for the last ten years. She has trained and performed in physical theatre, silks, trapeze, flying trapeze, rope, harness work, web, aerial ring, acrobalance, handstands, hula hoops, character work and juggling for festivals, theatres and corporate events. She has worked with companies such as Legs on the Wall, Aerialize, Strings Attached, Rob Martin Productions and as a solo aerialist with the Lennon Bros traditional family touring circus. Recently, Catherine was a guest teacher at the Flying Fruit Fly Circus in Albury. In 2006 Catherine combined the tissu and trapeze inventing a unique piece of aerial equipment. In 2008 she went onto invent the carousel incorporating three silks on the one piece of equipment. In 2009 Catherine performed in Opera Australia’s touring production of “The Magic Flute” as an acrobat and silks artist in collaboration with Legs on the Wall and performed for Nat Harris Entertainment in the Kingdom of Dreams, India for 3 months. Since moving to Berlin, she has appeared at the KuLE theater, at the Hof Theater and in the Karneval der Kulturen.
